Win a Major Award Leg Lamp at the ICMG Annual Meeting

January 17, 2007 - IdeaStar Inc. will share a "major award" with one lucky winner at the Inter-Company Marketing Group (ICMG) Annual Meeting - a "major award" leg lamp that is.

Participants of the January 31 through February 2  Florida conference may enter a drawing at the IdeaStar booth for the full-size conversation piece.  It's just like the one Ralphie's dad won in the 1983 classic movie, A Christmas Story. The lamp is sure to make people smile at home or the office.  It will be shipped directly to the winner, so there is no need to worry about getting a 45-inch leg (with lampshade) through airport security.

Why is IdeaStar giving away a leg lamp?  "We garnered a few major awards of our own in the past few years for developing online insurance processes.  I hope this encourages people to stop by the IdeaStar booth – not just to register for the drawing – but to learn what award-winning projects we've completed,"  Mike Wise, IdeaStar vice-president of  Insurance  Technologies, said.   

For instance, together with our client MemberHealth, we received the 2006 Best of PIMA Award for the design and development of communitycarerx.com  as part of the Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA) Marketing Methods competition. The Medicare Part D enrollment and information Web site is versatile and easy-to-use.  During the award presentation, the judges noted the Web site is "cleanly conceived, cost effective, and very successful," with over 100,000 online enrollments.

IdeaStar also achieved Finalist Status in the A.M. Best E-Fusion 2006 competition, also for communitycarerx.com.  The site, developed by IdeaStar, features a Medicare-approved drug plan offered and sold online by our client.  Site visitors can sign-up for the program, locate participating pharmacies, view various plan details relative to their home state, look up drug prices in their area, review policies and procedures, and more.

There have been a few other awards over the years.  One thing is certain.  The "major awards" support IdeaStar's reputation as a leader in the design and development of interactive Web sites for the insurance industry.  "So come by the booth.
