IdeaStar Launches New Landing Page & Agent Termination Initiative for Universal American Corp.

April 23, 2009 - IdeaStar Inc. recently launched a new landing page and agent termination initiative for client Universal American Corp. (UAM-NYSE) appointmyagent.com.

Before the launch, agents needed to sign into the system through individual portals, and the termination process was paper-based. There is now one Web site for all of UAM's companies, agents and managers to access and contract agents.

The enhancements to the agent contracting and management system, which IdeaStar originally developed in 2006, continue to reduce paperwork, decrease approval time and costs, and eliminate errors.

The challenge, IdeaStar Project Manager Jane Hudeck said, was to ensure all aspects of UAM's marketing and licensing regulations were covered.  “My IdeaStar team did an amazing job of understanding the requirements and implementing the technology needed to make this happen.  Any work that we do for UAM is always complex and, therefore, a challenge, which makes it very exciting for everyone involved.”
