IdeaStar Inc. Launches E-signature-based, Underwritten Products for Client

October 22, 2007 - IdeaStar Inc. recently completed an e-signature pilot project for a national insurance company.  The company is a leader in ancillary health and life insurance products, focusing on affinity marketing and associations. 

The new launch serves as a pilot for the client’s new e-signature policy for medically underwritten life insurance products. This represents a return on the client’s initial investment in www.unionsecure.com. Union members may now be enrolled online for medically underwritten term life insurance products.

IdeaStar and its client, in collaboration with a national third party administrator and a benefits trust, previously launched Phase One of http://www.unionsecure.com/ in 2005.  During the past two years, union members have been able to generate quotes and apply for guaranteed-issue, supplemental health insurance products, conveniently online.
